NATE'S VISION
I have a vision for District 55 where financial stability is attainable by all without prejudice. We need to judge our community by how many of our families can thrive there. Can they afford to start a small business, send a child to daycare, take a vacation and not worry about a blown tire or a new prescription? For too many residents of District 55, the answer is no. This must immediately change.
As your State Representative, I will guide District 55 into a new era where everyone can move up and move forward, to succeed—not just survive. A district where we grow responsibly and legacy residents are protected from financial demise.
Residents of District 55 deserve a leader who will invest in every person and who has the economic vision and the experience to increase prosperity, lift families from poverty, invest in small businesses as well as corporate developments, reduce income inequality, and ensure a fair and inclusive economy.
I was raised on government assistance to supply my family’s needs. I am proud to now say I am an entrepreneur who has helped small businesses in District 55 access capital to create and retain many jobs in this community. My businesses are based in District 55 and I recruit from District 55.
District 55 is being given a unique opportunity to have major technology companies invest in our community. I understand the importance and impact of the jobs being brought to our community and I will ensure that whoever builds in District 55 invests in our economy, education system, our failing infrastructure, and our residents. District 55 is saturated with talented, educated, and motivated residents. This diverse employee pool is one that larger corporations should see value in hiring from. As your State Representative, I will immediately begin work on legislation to ensure no corporation is able to take advantage of the years of political inactivity and indifference this district has experienced.
